The Catalogue of Medicines for National Basic Medical Insurance, Work Injury Insurance and Maternity Insurance (2023) contains 3088 kinds of western medicine and traditional Chinese patent medicines and simple preparations, including 1698 kinds of western medicine, 1390 kinds of traditional Chinese patent medicines and simple preparations, and 892 kinds of Chinese herbal pieces. The 2023 version of the medical insurance catalog will be officially implemented on January 1, 2024.

The Shengbai Oral Liquid (mixture) (954), Zhuling Polysaccharide Capsules (150), Yiqing Granules (85), Yinhuang Capsules (128), and Weikangling Capsules (635) produced by Hubei Mengyang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. have all been included in the new version of the medical insurance catalog, and the payment restrictions for "Shengbai Granules and Shengbai Oral Liquid (mixture)" have been adjusted.
